‘Rehab Addict’ Host Nicole Curtis Explains Why The Show Was Mysteriously Removed From HGTV’s Summer Schedule
Rehab Addict has finally returned to HGTV after host Nicole Curtis took a hiatus from the home renovation series in 2022. But the series seems to have been put on pause once again.
The HGTV series was mysteriously removed from the network’s 9 pm ET time slot after just two new episodes aired. It has instead been replaced by My Lottery Dream Home.

Curtis cleared up the rumors with an Instagram Reel that showed her cruising on a boat with the caption, “You look so much happier. Thanks, I moved Rehab Addict to Fall airdates.”
She announced in the caption, “I made the executive decision to shelf the rest of our new shows until fall. I appreciate your support and understanding for the late notice. It’s just a lot of hours (my hours) to get a show on air and we (my family + me) thought – why are we giving up summer when we have the ability to do this in the fall?”
She continued, “Thank you to the powers at be at HGTV that were receptive to our idea. … Without a doubt, I, truly, am beyond happy with this decision as I just spent the day with a phone that was dead and had no worries about it.”
The new season of Rehab Addict will follow Curtis as she renovates an 1890s Wyoming house that she purchased sight unseen as well as “one of the dirtiest abandoned homes she’s ever seen.”
Curtis did not share when Rehab Addict will return to HGTV. However, the first two episodes of Rehab Addict Season 10 are streaming now on HBO Max and discovery+.
She also spoke out in defense of My Lottery Dream Home host David Bromstead and denied the rumors that he had had somehow “replaced” her on HGTV.
“David Bromstead was my pregnancy beach buddy as we were filming and living next to each other in Gulf Shores Alabama for Beach Flip,” she wrote. “So, don’t be spreading rumors that he replaced me-I chose it.”
All episodes of Rehab Addict are available to stream now on HBO Max.
