Ravens’ Super Bowl champion Arthur Jones dead at 39
Former NFL defensive tackle Arthur Jones passed away at the age of 39, the Ravens announced on Friday.
No cause of death was given.

Jones spent four seasons in Baltimore from 2010-13, winning the 2013 Super Bowl with the franchise.
“We are terribly saddened to learn of Arthur Jones’ sudden passing,” Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said in a statement on Friday.
“Arthur’s presence was a gift to everyone he encountered. His big, bright smile, infectious energy and eternal positivity created a presence that continuously uplifted others. He was kind, courteous and enthusiastic — always displaying a love for family, teammates and friends.”
Jones played seven total seasons in the league, spending time with the Colts and Commanders after leaving the Ravens.
A Rochester, New York native, Jones was drafted in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Ravens out of Syracuse.
During his time with Baltimore, Jones played in 46 games (20 starts), posting 126 tackles and 8.5 sacks.
In the 2013 Super Bowl, Jones had two tackles, including a sack of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Jones is the older brother of UFC champion Jon Jones and four-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Chandler Jones.
