Andrew, 66, shares his daughters with Sarah Ferguson, 66, who he was married to from 1986 to 1996. The two remained friendly and even lived together after their divorce at Royal Lodge.

According to People, their daughters will keep their royal titles.

Ferguson, meanwhile, will lose her “Duchess of York” title. She “will always stand by Andrew,” sources told Page Six.

On Thursday, Buckingham Palace released a statement announcing the bombshell news.

“His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew,” the statement began. “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence.”

Andrew was ordered to “surrender” his lease on the royal lodge and “move to alternative private accommodation.”

“These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him,” the statement continued.

The palace didn’t name former sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, but it was released amid fresh pressure on the royals and fresh allegations that Andrew kept ties with the late convicted pedophile and sex offender years after Andrew claimed to have cut ties with Epstein.

Andrew was first forced to step back from royal duties in 2019 after his infamous BBC’s “Newsnight” interview, in which he addressed his alleged ties to Epstein and claimed that he had severed ties with him in December 2010.

In January earlier this year, leaked emails from Feb. 2011 appeared to contradict Andrew’s claim. In leaked emails, Andrew allegedly told the pedophile: “We’ll play some more soon!!!!”

Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide at 41 in April, posthumously published a memoir that came out on Oct. 21, containing further allegations that she was forced to have sex with Andrew when she was a teenager. The former royal has repeatedly denied the allegations.

Referring to King Charles and Queen Camilla, the statement from the palace concluded, “Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”

Andrew and Fergie have officially been evicted from their taxpayer-subsidized royal lodging of more than 20 years.

Andrew will move into a property on the Sandringham Estate, privately funded by King Charles.

Amid their family turmoil, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie quietly left the UK, as Eugenie went to Paris with friends, and Beatrice was seen in Saudi Arabia.

Sources told Page Six that King Charles’ shocking decision was made with the support of his eldest son and future king, Prince William, 43.

On Thursday, Giuffre’s family credited her with taking down Andrew in a statement to the Post.

“Today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage,” the family said.

Their statement, which was signed by Sky and Amanda Roberts, and Danny and Lanette Wilson, concluded: “We, her family, along with her survivor sisters, continue Virginia’s battle and will not rest until the same accountability applies to all of the abusers and abettors connected to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.”
