Prince Harry paid a poignant visit to the late Queen Elizabeth II’s grave in Windsor just moments after landing in the UK for a fleeting four-day visit.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, touched down in London Monday morning and was immediately whisked away to St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle — the late monarch’s final resting place.

There, Harry laid a wreath and flowers in a touching tribute to his late grandmother, who died three years ago to the day at age 96.
Notably, the “Spare” author — who flew to the UK solo — was located just 16 minutes away from his estranged brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The Prince and Princess of Wales attended an official engagement to honor the late queen in Sunningdale, Berkshire — just seven miles away from Windsor Castle.
Harry, for his part, arrived on his home soil Monday morning for the annual WellChild Awards — making his first time in the UK since April, when he famously lost his bid for taxpayer-funded security protection.
His wife, Meghan Markle, did not join him on the trip, instead staying put in Montecito, Calif., with the pair’s two children Archie and Lilibet.

His visit marks the longest stint he’s spent in the UK since he and the “Suits” alum, 44, visited in 2022 for the queen’s funeral.
Still, despite not winning his legal security bid, Harry was seen being picked up at London’s Heathrow Airport by a Metropolitan Police officer from the Royalty and Specialist Protection Squad, suggesting that the duke was granted specialist security detail for the trip, the Daily Mail reports.
During his brief dash to the UK, Harry is rumored to be meeting up with his estranged father, King Charles.
The father-son duo’s alleged peace summit will mark their first in-person meeting in 20 months.
However, Harry — whose visit also coincides with the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death — will not be meeting with his estranged brother, Prince William.
As for his engagements, the Invictus Games founder will attend the WellChild Awards Monday night, followed by an appearance at the Community Recording Studio in Nottingham the following day.
There, Harry will announce a donation to the Children in Need charity.
