The Duke of Sussex, 40, was seen arriving by car to his father’s London residence at around 5:20 p.m. local time.
The father-son duo reunited after Harry, 40, attended several charity events in his former home country, including the annual WellChild Awards on Monday, Sept. 8. Harry also visited Queen Elizabeth II’s grave in Windsor on Monday.
The “Spare” author’s wife, Meghan Markle, is home in the US with their kids Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4.
Before seeing Charles, Harry visited Imperial College London’s Centre for Blast Injury Studies earlier on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the king flew back from Scotland after spending weeks at Balmoral Castle.
Prince William, 43, did not meet up with his father and estranged brother.
The Mirror reported last month that Harry and Charles were going to reunite during the Duke of Sussex’s trip to the UK.
“Nobody is pretending the wider family issues have been resolved, but this is about beginning with Charles and Harry,” a source told the outlet.
“For the first time in a long time, there’s a genuine sense that reconciliation is within reach,” the insider added.
The last time the duo saw each other was in Feb. 2024, when Harry flew across the pond after Charles announced his cancer diagnosis.
Harry returned to the UK in May 2024 for the Invictus Games, in Sept. 2024 for the WellChild Awards, and in April of this year for an appeal hearing on his security that he lost, but he didn’t see his estranged relatives during any of the trips.
Charles’ former personal butler, Grant Harrold, recently told The Post that while the monarch “has trust issues” with his youngest son, he still “misses” Harry.
William, on the other hand, is said to be unhappy about Charles and Harry trying to make amends.
“William is worried that with the stuff Harry has said, he could use it to his advantage again … like he’s already done. I think, sadly, they don’t trust him. It’s a shame, because Harry wants them to,” Harrold told The Post.
Harry broke his family’s trust after he quit his royal duties in 2020 and then aired out their dirty laundry in his sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, his memoir “Spare” and his Netflix series “Harry & Meghan.”
In May, Harry told the BBC that his father “won’t speak” to him.
“There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,” Harry shared. “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight anymore, life is precious,”
Harry also noted in the interview that doesn’t “know how much longer” his cancer-stricken father has left.
Furthermore, Harry, who had just lost his appeal to maintain his tax-payer funded security detail since moving to America, declared, “I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point.”
The last time Charles saw Archie and Lilibet was in June 2022, when the Sussexes returned for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. At the time, Archie was just 3 years old, while Lilibet was 1.
Markle, 44, has not been on UK soil since attending the late queen’s funeral in Sept. 2022.
