Charles has only ever seen Prince Archie, 6, a handful of times. He met Princess Lilibet, 4, in person just once, during the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

Back then, Harry and wife Meghan Markle invited the royal family to the girl’s first birthday party at their former UK home, Frogmore Cottage — but neither Charles nor Harry’s older brother, Prince William, turned up.

A Sussex rep declined to comment.

A royal source mused, “How can you resolve that much s–t in 55 minutes?”

Those close to the Duke of Sussex, who turns 41 on Monday have long said he is desperate to bring his kids to the UK and forge their relationship with Charles, but will not do so amid security concerns.

In May, Harry spoke to the BBC after losing his battle to get full state-security restored for himself and his family during visits to Britain — which, Page Six revealed at the time, caused a rift between himself and his father, 76.

“Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile,” Harry said.

He spent 55 minutes with Charles on Wednesday afternoon, sharing time without Queen Camilla present.

It was the first time they had met since the king announced his cancer diagnosis in February 2024 and Harry jetted from California to England to see him.

Back then, Charles gave his youngest son just 30 minutes in a meeting that also included Camilla.

On Wednesday, Harry was smiling ear-to-ear after seeing his dad, who he said is “doing great”.

The prince also appeared in good spirits as he attended a reception for his Invictus Games.

He also visited several charities close to his heart and gave a speech at the WellChild awards.

“He’s obviously loved being back in the UK catching up with old friends, colleagues and just generally being able to support the incredible work of the causes that mean so much to him,” his rep told Page Six.
