President Trump’s emotional reaction to watching footage of ICE shooting — as he defends immigration officer

President Trump said the graphic footage of the deadly Minneapolis ICE shooting was “horrible to watch” — as he doubled down in defending the federal agent who opened fire on the female protestor.

Trump’s emotional reaction came just hours after Renee Nicole Good, 37, was shot and killed by the ICE agent after the feds allege she tried to mow officers down with her vehicle on Wednesday.

“It’s a terrible scene,” Trump told the New York Times moments after watching a clip of the fatal confrontation.

“I think it’s horrible to watch. No, I hate to see it.”

The president has repeatedly insisted that the unidentified agent who pulled the trigger did so in self-defense — only after being struck by Good’s car.

“That was a vicious situation that took place,” Trump said.

“She behaved horribly,” he added. “And then she ran him over. She didn’t try to run him over.”

Trump and Homeland Security officials have said footage from the scene captured the moment Good intentionally struck the officer with her car before he opened fire through the vehicle’s window.

“I want to see nobody get shot. I want to see nobody screaming and trying to run over policemen either,” Trump said.

“With all of it being said, no, I don’t like that happening,” he added.

Trump’s remarks came after he said in an earlier Truth Social post that the federal agent involved had to be hospitalized and was lucky to be alive after being hit by the “disorderly” protester.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and other local Democrats — including embattled lame-duck Gov. Tim Walz — quickly blasted the Trump administration’s account and demanded ICE leave the state.

But Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem defiantly said agents are not going anywhere.

Noem, for her part, alleged that Good was part of a “mob of agitators” trying to thwart ICE’s efforts in enforcing Trump’s latest immigration crackdown.

She decried the deadly incident as an “act of domestic terrorism.”
