President Trump Slams Seth Meyers As “A Truly Deranged Lunatic” Who Is “100% Anti Trump”
President Donald Trump took aim at Seth Meyers in an enraged TruthSocial post after the comedian criticized him on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Trump said he had tuned into Late Night “for the first time in years” to find Meyers criticizing one of his recent speeches – and he was not impressed.

“Seth Meyers of NBC may be the least talented person to ‘perform’ live in the history of television. In fact, he may be the WORST to perform, live or otherwise,” Trump wrote. For the record, Late Night with Seth Meyers is not filmed live.
He continued, “I watched his show the other night for the first time in years. In it he talked endlessly about electric catapults on aircraft carriers which I complain about as not being as good as much less expensive steam catapults. On and on he went, a truly deranged lunatic. Why does NBC waste its time and money on a guy like this??? – NO TALENT, NO RATINGS, 100% ANTI TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL!!!”
Trump’s comments come after Meyers criticized one of his recent speeches in which he spoke at length about catapults on aircraft carriers.
“Guy spends more time thinking about catapults than Wile E. Coyote,” Meyers quipped on the show.
This is not the first time Trump has taken aim at Seth. After Jimmy Kimmel Live was suspended indefinitely following Kimmel’s comments about Charlie Kirk, Trump took to TruthSocial where he gloated over the news and stated NBC should do the same to Meyers and Jimmy Fallon.
“Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED,” he wrote at the time. “Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! President DJT”
