“Hello Barbara? This is Shirley,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper said in a recent Instagram Live, referring to Shirley Brown’s 1974 R&B song “Woman to Woman,” in which she reached out to another woman her man was cheating with.
“That’s your baby daddy, bitch? That’s my baby daddy, too,” Cardi, 32, added.
“What now? I don’t f–king know. We’ll figure it out, bitch.”
The “Bongos” emcee’s comments come days after news surfaced that Diggs, 31, was facing a paternity suit from a woman who claimed he was the father of her 5-month-old daughter, Charliee.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Aileen Lopera (known as Lord Gisselle on social media) filed a petition in December 2024 to determine parental relationship in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles.
The Fashion Nova clothing model, who was pregnant at the time of her filing, listed the New England Patriots star as the “parent” of the then-unborn child.
Lopera requested that she be given legal and physical custody of the child and Diggs only be given visitation rights.
She also requested that the athlete cover all of her pregnancy and birth expenses, as well as her attorney’s fees.
In July, Diggs filed a response to Lopera’s paternity suit, saying in the docs that he was “not certain” if he was the father of Charliee, who was born on April 2.
He asked for a DNA test to be conducted.
A day after the paternity suit made headlines, TMZ dropped a video of Diggs leaving a hospital holding a baby carrier.
While it’s unclear who the woman is in the video, Lopera’s attorney exclusively told Page Six that her client was not in the clip.
“I can confirm that is not my client in the video and no car seat has been provided to her,” Lopera’s attorney, Tamar Arminak, told Page Six Friday.
“My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs finally meets, acknowledges and provides for the infant daughter they share,” Arminak added.
Last week, Cardi announced she was pregnant and expecting a baby with the wide receiver.
The “Up” rapper is also mom to daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 1, and son Wave, 3, whom she shares with estranged husband Offset.
Cardi filed for divorce from the Migos rapper, 33, last summer.
Diggs is also a dad to daughter Nova, whom he allegedly welcomed with ex Tyler-Marie in October 2016.
