Post expert predicts Nets’ five first-round picks in 2025 NBA Draft

The Post’s Brian Lewis predicts who the Nets will take with their five first-round picks in Wednesday’s 2025 NBA Draft:

No. 8: Khaman Maluach, C, Duke

The 7-6 wingspan, mobile defense and lob threat will make it hard for the Nets to pass up. The tantalizing fact he’s only been playing for five years will make it impossible.

No. 19: Asa Newell, F/C, Georgia

There’s a chance this gets packaged to move up to a second lottery pick — San Antonio at 14, Phoenix at 10 or even Toronto at 9.

No. 22: Rasheer Fleming, PF, St. Joseph’s

Again, this could be a trade chip. If not, a 6-9, 232-pound 3-and-D archetype here is enough to get the Nets to ignore his lack of handle.

No. 26: Nolan Traoré, PG, Saint-Quentin

The French point guard was a Top 10 prospect at the start of the season. If he’s still here, Brooklyn could bank on his potential.

No. 27: Hugo González, SF, Real Madrid

There is no way the Nets take five firsts, and the Spaniard is sure to have a buyout, but they’ve scouted him in person and seemed to like what they saw.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
