Pelosi’s exit from Congress: Letters

The Issue: Nancy Pelosi’s decision to not seek re-election in 2026 after a 40-year career in Congress.
I would like to take a moment to congratulate the greatest Wall Street stock trader of all time on her retirement (“Pelosis’ House run ends,” Nov. 11).
JP Morgan, Carl Icahn, Steve Cohen and even Warren Buffet can’t hold a candle to the greatest of all time: Nancy Pelosi.

Move over, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky and Shohei Ohtani, and bow down in awe of the true GOAT: Nancy Pelosi.

Nancy Pelosi is finally leaving politics.
Good riddance.
While the mainstream media froth and slobber over themselves to portray her as a trailblazing and empowering force for social equity and justice, nothing is further from the truth.
Two-time Speaker of the House Pelosi ruled her caucus with a Stalin-style fist, using personal and political threats against those who acted adversely to her positions.
There can only be one characterization of this woman: a mean-spirited individual who acts with no regard for others’ feelings and positions.
Please, Nancy, do as former President Joe Biden has done, and just go away, and never return from California.

Not many people have stood up to President Trump, including ripping up his State of the Union speech, the way Nancy Pelosi did.
Despite her size, she was the all-time heavyweight champion of the House.
If it hadn’t been for her deft handling of Congress, there might never have been the Affordable Care Act (better known as Obamacare).
I doubt we will see anyone like her for decades.

How sad that corrupt Democrat Nancy Pelosi will end her almost four-decade career as a frail old lady — if she even makes it through her term.
Fortunately, Nancy will be able to transition into her side business as a stock picker (her true calling).
Nancy’s stock picks have far outperformed the market, and now she can share her wisdom with the wider world. Gee, I wonder why she was so successful at this . . .

The Issue: Shocking reports of American teens, including two from New Jersey, intending to wage jihad.
Bethany Mandel’s column is an excellent analysis of Tomas Kaan Jimenez-Guzel, Milo Sedarat and every other wannabe jihadist (“Jersey Boy Jihadis,” Nov. 7).
These boys are a far cry from my days long gone, when American boys were arguing about who was better: Mickey Mantle or Willie Mays.
And why is Rabbi Yaacov Leaf of Montclair so surprised by this behavior? His comment that hate has seeped into his liberal community is very telling.

These degenerate punks allegedly bought weapons to try to kill Jews.
Not only that, but one of them was reportedly planning to travel to the Middle East to join ISIS.
This is not a situation where some crank calls in a bomb threat; this is serious.
The only way to stop this kind of behavior is to dole out severe jail sentences.
Are you listening, New Jersey politicians?

Why would The Post call these jihadist-wannabes “children”?
They’re men — they can vote, and serve in the armed forces.
They allegedly wanted to slaughter people (especially Jews).
They should be prosecuted as battlefield combatants; let’s treat them as such.
Don’t coddle them, no matter how affluent their parents are.
Enough already — actions have consequences.
