Kathy, 66, opened up about the harrowing Nov. 15 ordeal in an interview with Extra TV on Thursday.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star said that the burglars “broke the glass” during a rainstorm, when the security guard was in the guest house.
Her husband, Rick Hilton, 70, heard the noise and “got his shotgun out,” she said.
There were three intruders, she said, who got inside and broke down the door before they were confronted by Rick.
He “looked at them and said, ‘You know what, get the f–k out of here. The police are on their way,’” Kathy told Extra TV.
She added, “And then our [security] guy came up, they met, they ran out and then [Rick] started shooting the gun out of his office in the air.”
The reality TV star and socialite said that they’ve since added more security to their home.
“It’s crazy.”
Kathy wasn’t home at the time, as the home invasion happened when she was at BravoCon in Las Vegas.
Fellow “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Sutton Stracke’s home was also burglarized while she attended the event.
It’s currently unknown if the home invasion incidents were related. The burglars fled before police responded at the time.
In a Nov. 18 statement shared with Entertainment Tonight, Stracke said that robbers “entered through a kitchen window and stole all my luxury handbags,” adding “they also took my fine jewelry.”
Kathy and Rick are on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” franchise, and they’re also the parents of Paris, 44, and Nicky, 42.
Paris and Nicky have yet to publicly comment on their parents’ home invasion.
Paris released her 2023 book “Paris: The Memoir,” detailing abuse she allegedly suffered when she attended the Provo Canyon School in Utah. During a 2022 interview with The Post about her reality show “Paris in Love,” Paris said, “I finally know who I am.”
She said that she had “an amazing time” shooting the show with Kathy”and spending time with her and my sister.”
Paris told The Post that she talked to Kathy about her alleged abuse.
“It was definitely hard to talk to my mom about everything that I went through, because it felt traumatic and painful to speak about. So, we had never talked about it.”
The former “Simple Life” star added that opening up about it to Kathy was “really healing for both of us to finally talk about that, and lift that weight off my shoulders.”
