Less equals a better scorecard.

That’s according to longtime golf influencer Paige Spiranac, who joked Sunday that “science” recently backed her theory suggesting she plays better when wearing fewer items of clothing.

“If you’ve been following me for awhile you know I have this working theory that I play better when I wear less clothes,” Spiranac captioned a photo post on X that featured her wearing a polo shirt and shorts.

“Can confirm that science is right once again. I played like [poop emoji] today.”

Unsurprisingly, Spiranac’s followers had a field day in the replies.

“Must prepare a thesis on the subject,” one X account wrote.

“Go with whatever it takes to get your mind right to play well!!!” another exclaimed.

One user even quipped that Spiranac, 32, who briefly played at the professional level, would “probably still beat me.”

A social media juggernaut, Spiranac has amassed five million followers across her X and Instagram pages over the years, typically sharing golf content in revealing ensembles.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum poked fun at her wardrobe choices over the weekend when sounding the alarm bell on a rising internet rumor that speculated she is the woman at the center of a viral golf video, which featured a blonde tumbling out of a cart and onto the course.

“I would like to clear up the speculation. This is not me. We all know I wouldn’t be wearing a polo,” Spiranac shared Saturday on X.

Spiranac, who has long been candid about the highs and lows of her golf journey, shared in November that she re-discovered her love for the game over the past year.

“I’ve been getting asked a lot to post more golf content lol and it’s funny because this is the first year in awhile where I actually practiced hard, played some really cool courses, and fell back in love with the game,” she began on Instagram.

“I played more this year than I have in a long time and honestly playing better than ever. I’ve always loved golf but it’s been a love/hate relationship which I’m sure we can all relate to at times lol. My scores were always tied into my self worth and playing just wasn’t that much fun. Until this year. I’m so passionate about the game and I should’ve shared more of that on here! I’m going to do that moving forward.”

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
