“He was frail, but it still came as a shock,” Powell told The Mirror. She added that while she didn’t know the “details of his death,” she was “thankful he died in England.”

She recalled about the concert, “It was upsetting because he could not stand up straight, but he was still our John, still cracking the jokes.”

“I got a text from him as he drove down Lodge Road, where we used to live near the stadium,” Powell reminisced about one of their final interactions. “He said he couldn’t believe all the crowds were walking down our old street to watch him perform.”

On Tuesday, Osbourne’s family told The Post that the rock star was “surrounded by love” at the time of his passing.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the statement from his wife and four of his six kids said. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

Osborne shared Louis and daughter Jessica, who was excluded from the statement, with his first wife, Thelma Riley.

Osbourne also adopted Riley’s son Elliot Kingsley from a previous relationship. He was also left out of the family’s tribute.

Osbourne’s sisters said they received a phone call notifying them of their brother’s death that same day, per the outlet.

“To us, he was our brother, not a celebrity, so it’s crazy to see the outpouring of love since his death was announced,” Powell expressed. “We just can’t believe he is gone, and we won’t be getting another phone call or text from him. Every week without fail he would get in touch.”

Osbourne was one of six siblings. Three, including the metal rocker, have passed, and only Powell, Hemming, and their brother Paul remain.

Louis, 50, and Jessica, 45, also honored their dad on social media following the news.

For her part, Jessica reposted a tribute from the “On With Mario Lopez” podcast to her Instagram Stories.

The image featured a black-and-white picture of Osbourne, along with the dates of his birth and death.

The actress wrote, “RIP OZZY,” on her post, along with Osbourne’s 1980 hit, “Crazy Train.”

Osbourne was married to Riley from 1971 to 1982. The rocker began dating Sharon, 72, while he was still married to his first wife.

In 1982, the couple tied the knot in Hawaii after his divorce was finalized.

The DJ told Birmingham Live in 2013 that he got along well with Aimee, 41, Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39.

Louis added that the family tries to “meet on special occasions.”

Jessica, meanwhile, reflected on her childhood in the 2011 documentary “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne.”

“My recollection from my childhood with dad is that he’d be away for very long periods of time, and there’d always be a period of adjustment when he came home, and then it’d get to normality and then he’d go again,” she shared. “So, it was a very erratic chidhood with dad.”

In 2002, Osbourne, Sharon, Kelly and Jack participated in MTV’s reality show “The Osbournes.” The series ran for four seasons until 2005 and followed the family’s day-to-day lives.

“Surprised is the f–king understatement of the millennium!” the heavy metal legend told Hot Press in December 2002 of his reaction to the series being so well-received.

Aimee, however, chose not to participate in the project and lives a mostly private life.

“She felt too that she didn’t want to grow up on camera. She hated the idea — it was appalling to her,” Sharon explained while on “The Talk” in 2018. “And so she left at 16 and I regret every day that she did.”

The host added, “It broke my heart when she moved.”

A year later, in 2019, Kelly reflected on sharing her family’s journey on television.

“The first season was such a magical time in my family’s life because we had no idea what we were doing. We had no idea that the show would be so successful,” the “Fashion Police” alum told PeopleTV’s “Reality Check” at the time. “We didn’t know how people would perceive us or anything.”

“I think that is the most raw and vulnerable you will see any family on TV. And then it all kind of was like an explosion of too much reality for us.”

Aimee, however, stood by her decision to opt out of the show.

“It definitely worked great for the rest of my family, but for me, and who I am, I just knew it was never something that I would have been able to consider realistically,” she reflected on New York’s Q1043 radio show in 2020.
