Oprah and Gayle King shop the runway at Ralph Lauren show

Oprah was spoilt for choice at Ralph Lauren’s spring 2026 show, but she managed to pare down her picks.

“I love three outfits and I’m going to see if I can get ‘em,” she told Alexa after the designer’s presentation on Wednesday evening at his Madison Ave. headquarters. “I can’t wait for spring!”

The fashion-loving television personality and entrepreneur sat front row with her best friend and fellow broadcast journalist Gayle King, alongside a glittering lineup of more than a dozen movie and music stars. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas chatted with Laura Dern, Naomi Watts, Usher, Jessica Chastain, Ariana DeBose and Mindy Kaling, and greeted many other guests.

The stylish event kicked off New York Fashion Week, which officially starts on Thursday.

While all the A-listers wore (and adore) Ralph, Oprah is perhaps his biggest superfan.

“I think Ralph is eternal and I’ve loved him my whole life,” observed the media icon, who interviewed the all-American designer for O, The Oprah Magazine, and for one of the final episodes of her TV show. “He was so aspirational for me. I used to read the magazines and see the ads and the cable-knit sweaters and think one day I’m going to be able to afford that. I still have every precious Ralph Lauren item I’ve ever bought,” she noted. “I still have my suede pants from 1992, I still have my original polo shirts that I got.”

Now she can add a few more treasures to her trove.

The show featured plenty of modern suiting in relaxed silhouettes. That meant oversized blazers slung over bras or bandeaux; fluid trousers with sarong fronts; natty pinstripe pants paired with a vest or a classic jacket belted at the waist. The palette was white, black and red, accented with sculptural silver jewelry and wide-brimmed picture hats.

For evening, there were flowing dresses that dipped low in the back or strapless gowns that tied neatly in front.

“What’s one word you could use to describe this?” asked King after Lauren took his bow. “Timeless. No matter what [Ralph] does, when he does it, I think, ‘I could wear that. I could wear that. I could wear that!’

“It’s extraordinary. Especially after all this time, to still be knocking it out of the park.”

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
