Ohio woman believes Trump-supporting license plate made her car a target in alleged shooting

An Ohio woman believes her car came under fire on her drive home from work this week after an alleged motorist flew into a rage over her pro-Trump license plate bearing the word “MAGAGRL.”
The woman, identified as Jody, said she was traveling on Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway in Cincinnati Monday night when she heard gunshots strike her car after a menacing black vehicle with tinted windows sped up behind her, FOX 19 NOW reported.

She claims she was allegedly targeted due to her personalized plate.
“I looked over, it was a black car, looked like it had tinted windows, but I was like ‘I’m going to gun it a little bit,” so I shot up and as soon as I pressed the gas to go faster I heard a ‘pop pop’ and I knew something had hit my car,” Jody told the outlet.
“I didn’t know what. But as soon as that happened, this guy just tore off.”
After getting home, the shaken driver said she and her husband found two small dents on the right rear bumper, leading her to believe the car had been hit by rounds from a small-caliber weapon.
Jody said this isn’t the first time her car has been vandalized.
“I’ve had issues in the past with people flipping me off, which is fine, with people being behind me and honking their horn and yelling profanities, find, words don’t hurt me,” she told the outlet.
“I didn’t think there was nothing to it until last night … and now I’m like this is kind of serious now that my license plate can trigger somebody just because I believe something different that it’s okay to pull out a weapon. It’s just not right as a human to want to hurt someone else just because they disagree with you.”
Jody said she reported the terrifying incident to Springfield Township Police Department on Tuesday.
There have been no arrests in connection with the alleged shooting, the outlet reported.
Springfield Township police did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
