Ohio boy trapped in claw machine after trying to snag toy triggers police rescue in wild footage

A curious young boy became the unexpected prize when he climbed inside a claw machine to snag a stuffed toy and triggered a bizarre police rescue, wild video showed.

Crazed surveillance footage captured the shocking moment the toy-hunting tot, seemingly alone, wandered around the Mason Community Center in Mason, Ohio, before crawling headfirst into the prize chute of the arcade-style game Monday afternoon.

The prize-seeking kiddo could be seen standing tall inside the crane game as a passerby watched in horror, according to the footage obtained by WDTN.

Staffers then wheeled the machine into a nearby store and closed the gate, just as nearly a dozen first responders arrived to rescue the arcade adventurer, whose age remains unknown.

Within minutes, local police and firefighters removed the back panel of the toy machine and safely freed the little treasure hunter, who was unharmed in the unusual incident, the outlet reported.

The claw machine was reportedly back up and running later that day.

The Mason Police Department did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
