Photos and videos posted to social media captured emergency vehicles rushing toward the two Canadianair CRJ-900 regional jets on the taxiway of the Queens airport.

Additional photos showed the nose of one of the aircraft visibly dented.

The 28 passengers aboard Endeavor Air flight 5155 and 57 passengers aboard Endeavor Air flight 5047 have been taken back to the terminal in a bus and were provided with food and beverages by the airline, Delta said.

Customers will be placed in hotel rooms, offered meals, and given the option to rebook their flights tomorrow, the airline added.

“Delta teams at our New York-LaGuardia hub are working to ensure our customers are taken care of after two Delta Connection aircraft operated by Endeavor Air were involved in a low-speed collision during taxi,” Delta said in a statement.

“Delta will work with all relevant authorities to review what occurred as the safety of our customers and people comes before all else. We apologize to our customers for the experience,” the airline continued.

There was no impact on LaGuardia airport operations, according to the Port Authority.

Delta will work with the Port Authority, the FAA, the NTSB, and others to review the incident.
