A car thief stole the same BMW he’d previously sold to a 27-year-old Queens man for $6,000 in a gunpoint heist early Thursday, cops and sources said.
The victim, who lives on 124th Street near 25th Avenue in College Point, recently bought the blue 2018 BMW on Facebook Marketplace for $6,000 in cash, law enforcement sources said.

He told police he noticed an AirTag tracker on the car on Wednesday, but thought nothing of the discovery and trashed the device, the sources said.

But the trouble started when the victim, who was inside his home, heard his car start up around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, cops said.
Once the victim stepped outside, the same man who had sold him the Beemer pointed a black handgun at him and seethed, “Back the f–k up,” cops and sources said.

Then the gunman took off in the BMW, with a passenger already sitting inside, according to police.
The car thief, described as a tall male with a black complexion wearing a black sweatshirt, had not been caught by Thursday, police said.
