But Sunday’s 34-24 home loss to San Francisco was just a reminder of how little there is to enjoy this season outside of Dart’s growth. Following the team’s fifth double-digit loss of the season — which was not nearly as close as the scoreboard suggested — the Giants fell to 2-7 for the third straight season under Brian Daboll, and are just a half-game ahead of the Saints for the worst record in the NFC.
