Noah Cyrus addresses ‘draining’ family feud rumors
Noah Cyrus finally addressed the long-standing rumors of a feud among her famous family members.
“I keep myself quite separated from any interest or ‘drama’ with the family. The one thing that’s connected us with the entire world is music, and that’s what’s the most important to us,” Cyrus told People in an interview published Thursday.

“Yeah, it emotionally is draining, but it doesn’t hurt us or touch us. It’s something that you really learn to keep separate and far away from yourself.”
The Cyrus family has reportedly been feuding for years since Noah’s parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, called it quits in 2022.
Both Billy Ray and Tish have since moved on. The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer married singer Firerose in October 2023. Though, the two went their separate ways in 2024 after a messy divorce.
He’s now dating model and actress Elizabeth Hurley. Tish, on the other hand, married “Prison Break” star Dominic Purcell in August 2023.
The wedding allegedly drove a wedge between the family members, as a source claimed Purcell had originally been carrying on a casual relationship with Noah, 25, before he started dating her mother.
Additionally, there were also reports of a rift taking place between Billy Ray and several of his children after his son Trace issued a public request for their father to seek mental help.
In addition to Miley, 32, and Noah, the exes are also parents to son Braison, 31. After they tied the knot in 1993, Billy Ray adopted Tish’s eldest children: Trace, 36, and daughter Brandi, 38.
Billy Ray is also dad to son Cody, whom he welcomed in a previous romance.
However, in her Thursday interview, Noah told the outlet that “everybody’s great and loves each other.”
“I think when you grow up with that being normal — things being public — that it doesn’t quite reach you. At the end of the day, this is a family, and that’s really it: just going through normal family stuff,” she added.
Proving that the past is all water under the bridge, Noah included a track written by her singer-songwriter brother Braison, “Don’t Put It All on Me,” on her new album “I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me” which was released in June.
In the song, she sings the lyrics: “The words that were spoken / Mean nothing to me,” which she says “really sums up a relationship with a sibling.”
“There’s so many times, especially in my relationship with my siblings growing up, you fight and you say things — but that’s your family, and they’re always going to be there for you, and I’m lucky enough to say that that’s been my case with me and my siblings and my family,” she told the outlet.
Noah first clued her followers in on her reunion with Tish in April when she posted a video of the two dancing together.
“mommyyy 🫶🫶🌸 guess who’s replacing brandi [Cyrus],” Noah, 25, captioned the post, referring to her oldest sister.
She also appeared to have patched things up with her dad in February when she congratulated him on the release of his song “Lost.”
“So proud of my Dad’s INCREDIBLE new single LOST with my good, old friend [Sam Tinnesz] and [Tommee Profitt],” she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
