Sherrill’s lead has dropped to 50% to 49% in a new Atlas Intel poll.
It’s just the latest survey to show a nail-biter in the most-watched statewide election this year.
It follows a series of surveys showing a tightening race, including an Emerson College poll released Thursday that had Sherrill’s lead at 50% to 48%.
Sherrill also held a 1% lead in polls by InsiderAdvantage/Trafalgar Group survey last month.
The new poll has Ciattarelli, who was defeated by New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy in 2021 by a narrow 51% to 48% margin, running up big margins among men, but trailing with women.
He is running away with support from Donald Trump voters, garnering 99 percent, despite past comments criticizing the president.
And he is plucking away a sliver of Kamala Harris voters, who are going to Sherrill by 96 to 3 percent.
