Nikki Glazer Belts Out Cheeky ‘Marty Supreme’ Version of KPop’s “Golden” for the Globes: “If Kev O’Leary Spanks My Rear-y”
Moments after “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters won Best Original Song at the 2026 Golden Globes, host Nikki Glaser busted out her own version of the hit song, with lyrics all about Timotheé Chalamet’s new movie, Marty Supreme. And honestly? She crushed it.
Sporting a look very similar to Chalamet’s uniform as an elite table tennis star, Glaser sang into a ping-pong paddle, joking in the lyrics that the Globes brought her back to host again and told her “do your thing, just don’t sing.”

“But I had a dream, like Marty Supreme,” sang Glaser, to that all-too familiar tune. “They said, ‘No, unless you get Gwyneth Paltrow.’ So I tracked down Goop, showed up on her stoop, she called the cops so I’ll go it alone. So I’m here singing, still committing, just like Chalamet. If Kev O’Leary spanks my rear-y, I’ll turn around and say…”
At this point, Glaser turned around to demonstrate being spanked with a table tennis paddle, which, spoiler alert, really does happen to Chalamet’s character in the movie. CBScut to Shark Tank shark and Marty Supreme actor Kevin O’Leary, who seemed amused, if a bit scandalized, by Glaser’s bit.
Though she couldn’t quite hit those high notes, Glaser nevertheless valiantly launched into that infectious chorus, singing, “I won’t give up-up-up on this song, yeah.”
At this point, Fran Drescher—who, in addition to being The Nanny, is also in Marty Supreme—stormed out on stage shouting at Nikki to stop.
“Sweetie, you know I love you, but you have to stop singing. Your voice is so annoying,” Drescher exclaimed, a wink to Drescher’s often-mocked, distinctive voice. She continued, “Look I’m sorry, but if you don’t stop singing right now, I’m gonna remove your from the union.”
“But you’re not even the president of SAG anymore,” Glaser protests.
“I get one free kill, honey,” Drescher quipped back.
We don’t expect Glaser’s version of “Golden” to win a Globe anytime soon, but we appreciate her enthusiasm.
