Nikki Glaser Draws Gasps During ‘Golden Globes’ Roast After Digs At A-Listers On Epstein List And New “See BS News” Boss Bari Weiss

Nikki Glaser kicked off the 2026 Golden Globes with a monologue that once again skewered the celebs in the audience with her trademark wit, but she ironically went the hardest on the award show’s network. Early on in her hilarious eleven-minute-long monologue, the host mocked CBS News, joking, “The award for most editing goes to CBS News, America’s newest place to ‘see BS’ news.”

The 83rd Golden Globes is known as Hollywood’s best party thanks to the fact that A-list movie stars like Julia Roberts and Leonardo DiCaprio are gathered in the same room as up-and-comers like Heated Rivalry’s Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams (and a bunch of alcohol). To wit, the show’s host usually is tasked with balancing a fun attitude with sharp jabs, something Nikki Glaser excels at.

Early on, she joked that the crowd was full of A-listers who also appeared on “a list that has been heavily redacted,” referring to the Epstein files. The audience gasped, but soon laughed when Glaser pivoted to mocking Bari Weiss’s beleaguered reign over CBS News.

However, Glaser also hit the Hollywood stars in the audience, too, including Leonardo DiCaprio. After listing his numerous professional accomplishments, Glaser said, “the most impressive thing is you were able to accomplish all of those things before your girlfriend turned 30.”

After the usual ritual ribbing of Leo for his love life, Glaser found a hilarious new thread, admitting that they tried to find a different angle on him, but came up short. “We don’t know anything else about you. Like, open up,” she said. “I looked. I searched. The most in depth interview you gave is in Teen Beat in 1991.” She then asked if his favorite food was still pasta and DiCaprio smiled and mouthed, “Yes.”

Of course, no one can be surprised that the 41-year-old comic and actress went so hard. Not only did she earn raves for her roasts in last year’s Golden Globes monologue, but she also gave Hollywood fair warning that she would turn her laser-sharp wit on anyone in the audience.

“Everyone is fair game. I really feel that way,” Glaser told PEOPLE earlier this week. “I was even thinking, like, ‘Oh, I’ll leave plus ones alone, they don’t deserve it. They’re not there being honored,’ but I feel like [that’s fair].”

“I’m ready,” Leonardo DiCaprio told ET host Kevin Frazier on the red carpet before the show. “Whatever they want to throw at me, I’m ready.”
