‘Next Gen NYC’ Exclusive Clip: Ava Dash Doesn’t Think Ariana Biermann Is “Giving Fashion”
Ariana Biermann is having trouble finding her footing within the group of Next Gen NYC. After moving from Atlanta to the Big Apple with her boyfriend Hudson McLeroy to pursue their dream of starting a fashion line, Biermann looked to fellow Real Housewives kids Riley Burruss, Gia Giudice, and Brooks Marks to help build friendships. She immediately ran afoul of Georgia McCann (for harping on the fact she doesn’t always wash her hands before leaving the bathroom) and Charlie Zakkour (for merely existing), but she was able to quickly squash those beefs and move on.
Unfortunately for Biermann, drama follows her wherever she goes. In this exclusive clip from tonight’s all-new episode, we see another cast member throwing shade at Biermann without cause. During a night out with the friend group to celebrate Chloe Marks’ birthday, Ava Dash, daughter of music mogul Damon Dash and fashion designer Rachel Roy, is sitting with Marks and model Emira D’Spain while Biermann, Burruss, and Giudice laugh and talk across the room. “Did you know that Ariana is a fashion designer?” asks Dash. “She told me that, and I was a little surprised.” D’Spain and Marks say nothing as Dash continues. “Every time I’ve seen her, I’ve never thought, ‘oh, she’s giving fashion.’”

Marks buries his face in his hands as D’Spain looks uncomfortable. “Do you not agree?” asks Dash. “I had friends in high school and college that would say things like that, and it was just so fucked up,” begins D’Spain. In her confessional, D’Spain explains what she meant by that. “It’s just not classy to talk shit about someone you just met. Why are you intentionally putting someone down? To make yourself feel better?” Frustrated, D’Spain ends by saying, “be a good fucking person, bitch.”
Some time passes and Marks goes to sit with Biermann, Burruss, Giudice and now McCann. “You were talking to Ava for so long, minding us nothing,” says Burruss playfully. “What were you all talking about?” Biermann speaks up. “We’re only wondering because everybody’s been off in their own little groups all night.” Tired and tipsy, Marks tries to plead the fifth. “You guys, I don’t wanna do this.” “You have to, what is it?” replies Biermann.
“It’s not a big deal, but she was saying she is surprised you want to start a clothing brand,” begins Marks. “Excuse me? Why the bullshit for no fucking reason?” asks Biermann, immediately getting defensive. Marks immediately regrets sharing what Dash said though a flashback reveals the girls asked him multiple times. “Like, I don’t crack under pressure, but I do crack under tequila,” says Marks in his confessional.
“Bitch, I got my clothes in boxes today so why don’t you fuck off,” says Biermann in frustration. The camera cuts back to Marks’ interview. “I honestly thought that by my saying this, it would diffuse the situation,” says Marks. “I didn’t know it would be a damn situation.”
“Why don’t you go back to the actual circus with your shorts and your little shirt and shut the fuck up,” says Biermann, commenting on Dash’s outfit of gold glittery shorts and a black crop top. “She’s wearing gold sparkly shorts, telling me I have no style,” says Biermann in her confessional. “If I wanted to go to Forever 21, I would have. I love Forever 21, just not the sparkly section.”
Will Biermann confront Dash about what she said to Marks? Tune in tonight at 9/8c on Bravo to find out!
