County Executive Bruce Blakeman touted Nassau’s top-notch schools and safe streets as he took a sledgehammer to Mamdani’s “very troubling” left-wing policies

“Basically, every community has a large group of people who are really concerned. I had someone call me up yesterday and ask me if I could recommend a real estate broker. They asked me about the schools, ‘which are the best schools?’” Blakeman said at a press conference inside the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building.

“They’ve asked me about various communities — a lot of people from Brooklyn, a lot of people from Queens, a lot of people from the Bronx, and most importantly, a lot of people from Manhattan.”

The Republican, who just trounced his Democratic opponent on the way to a second term, said business and religious leaders are also worried about Mamdani, as he accused the anti-Israel pol of being antisemitic.

“Some of the policies of Mamdani, as he’s articulated, are very, very troubling,” he said, standing alongside local business leaders and realtors.

The former Hempstead town councilman, who is considering a run for governor, also rolled out the welcome mat to residents fed-up with their local governments across the region.

He boasted about Nassau’s various beaches and museums, and noted property values have only increased since he took office in 2022.

The marketing campaign will launch in about two weeks, and Blakeman, 70, plans to target residents in other parts of the tri-state area that want a change of scenery.

“We will take this not only to New York City and the metropolitan area and the tri-state area, but we’re going to take this campaign across the United States,” he said.

Mamdani’s meteoric rise has led to questions about whether the city could see an exodus, especially from Jewish New Yorkers who find some of the 34-year-old Queens state lawmaker’s past statements and current positions on Israel abhorrent.

“We are welcoming anyone — Jewish, non-Jewish,” Nassau County Legislator Mazi Pilip said Friday at the press conference that was six miles from the Queens border.

“The best county — the best place to live. We are welcoming everyone… we care about residents,” the Republican added. “We work with our law enforcement. We have the best law enforcement in the country.”
