The insider claimed that Anderson and Neeson are “enjoying each other’s company,” noting, “It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.”
The Post has reached out to their reps for comment.
The news of their alleged romance comes on the heels of promoting their upcoming flick and dropping hints that they could be more than co-stars.
Anderson and Neeson even pretended to make out on live TV.
While teasing their appearance on the “Today” show Tuesday, the stars acted surprised when cameras appeared to catch them passionately locking lips before their interview.
“Are they making out?” the hosts asked off camera. During the segment, Craig Melvin pushed for answers about their relationship.
“What’s the deal here? You’re both single right now. There’s clearly chemistry. Are you two an item?” he asked, to which they both played coy.
“What?!” I don’t understand the question,” Anderson replied.
The “Taken” actor followed her lead but acknowledged their undeniable chemistry.
“I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely budding chemistry as two actors. It was like ‘Ooo, this is nice, let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe.’ And that’s what we did,” Neeson told Melvin.
“America’s here for it. We’re here for whatever this turns into,” the morning host assured the two stars.
Elsewhere in the interview, Neeson said, “It’s great to be with this lady. Every day’s a joy.”
Melvin then told Anderson and Neeson, “We want you to come back when it’s official,” which caused the “Baywatch” actress to burst out laughing.
This wasn’t the first time they’ve shown each other affection, though.
At the London premiere of “The Naked Gun” earlier this month, Anderson planted a kiss on Neeson’s cheek.
On Monday, at the film’s New York premiere, the stars also posed on the red carpet for a group photo with their kids.
Anderson smiled alongside her sons, Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27, whom she shares with ex-husband Tommy Lee, with Neeson and his boys, Micheál, 30, and Daniel, 28, from his marriage to his late wife Natasha Richardson.
Richardson died in 2009 following a ski accident.
Anderson and Neeson have addressed their chemistry before.
“I think I have a friend forever in Liam. And we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he’s a good guy,” she told Entertainment Weekly earlier this month.
In a separate interview, Neeson stated, “I’ve made over 100 films and it’s just rare for me to have that sort of chemistry.”
Months prior, the actor gushed over Anderson, claiming he was “madly in love” with his co-star.
“She’s just terrific to work with,” he said. “I can’t compliment her enough. I’ll be honest with you.”
However, just nine months before the source confirmed their alleged romance, Neeson said he was done dating.
“No, in a word. I’m past all that,” he replied when asked if he was seeing anyone romantically.
Neeson also addressed Richardson’s death.
“It was a horrible thing to happen,” he said about the tragedy.
Neeson and Richardson were married from 1994 to 2009, when the “Parent Trap” star died at 45 after suffering head trauma in a skiing accident in Quebec, Canada.
Their sons were only 12 and 13 when she passed away.
In “The Naked Gun,” Anderson and Neeson play love interests. He stars as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Leslie Nielsen’s Frank Drebin from the original films, while Anderson plays Beth.
The movie hits theaters on Friday, August 1.
