Two officers approach Dziedzic’s SUV in the clip and question the driver about the crash.

“Were you involved in an accident?” one officer asked.

“No,” Dziedzic responded.

“What was your intention? You didn’t want to provide your information?” the cop said. “You know it’s state law to do that, right?”

The officer then tells Dziedzic to step out of the vehicle.

“I’m not gonna get into a debate about it with you, ok?” the cop said. “What we’re gonna do is put you in handcuffs and I want you in the back seat, and we’ll put your car over there with the other two cars.”

Dziedzic is then seen reaching into his waistband for a gun.

“He’s got a gun, lookout, lookout,” the officer shouts as both cops open fire. “Shots fired, shots fired!”

Houston Police Assistant Chief Christy Smith said the motorist was declared dead at the scene.

“These typically require investigators to interview multiple witnesses, view numerous hours of video footage and analyze a significant amount of forensic evidence,” Smith said. “It is important to note that we are in the very early stages of the investigation.”
