The Grammy nominee, 35, began one such fast — which involved abstaining from all food and non-water drinks — after getting out of rehab, where he had been from late November 2024 to early January.

“I get home, and I’m like, ‘I’m gonna try a water fast,’” he recalled, noting that the Los Angeles wildfires started “pretty close to the house” on day three.

“I was like, ‘I’m just gonna push it and go for four days of this water fast,” MGK continued. “On the fourth day, Michael B. Jordan, my neighbor, [and I were] looking and the fires are right there.”

As the songwriter grabbed a few items out of his home — letters, “a Banksy piece and a Picasso piece” — his body was “already going through it.”

He noted, “I [was] pushing myself to kind of a delirious state.”

The rocker’s comments come shortly after an interview went viral during which MGK detailed “not really eat[ing].”

In last month’s conversation, he said, “I just do water a bunch. … I’ll drink celery juice sometimes, yeah. Coconut water.”

The actor explained in June that he does eat “bone broth with kimchi and sauerkraut” because “when you do those water fasts, the only thing that’s crazy is it kills all the good bacteria in you, too, so you gotta put the pro[biotics].”

He confirmed that he does “sometimes” feel “weak or lightheaded” — and many social media users expressed concern and labeled the diet an eating disorder.

MGK’s rep has yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

In addition to his diet, MGK also discussed his on-again, off-again relationship with Megan Fox during Friday’s interview.

MGK pointed out to listeners that he and the actress have “never said anything” about breaking up last year after Fox reportedly found text “messages from other women” on her partner’s phone.

“There could have been zero drama and you would never know,” MGK insisted of the online narrative he “can’t control.”

On Friday, he also spoke about his headline-making romance with Megan Fox. meganfox/Instagram

Fox, 39, was pregnant when they split, and the duo welcomed a baby girl named Saga, now 4 months, in March.

MGK admitted to lying and breaking his family in the song “treading water” off his new “Lost Americana” album, which began streaming Friday, and vowed to “change” for his daughter’s sake.
