Mets vs. Brewers to be played as scheduled despite Milwaukee flooding
The Mets vs. Brewers game in Milwaukee Sunday afternoon will be played as scheduled at 2:10 p.m. ET despite flooding in the area as a result of rain walloping the area overnight.
Some of the parking lots at American Family Field — which has a retractable roof — won’t be accessible due to the flooding.

“American Family Field was not directly impacted by the flooding, but approximately half of the parking lots are currently inaccessible to traffic and some access roads are closed,” the Brewers said in a statement Sunday morning. “We will not be able to guarantee parking for all fans, even those who purchased parking in advance.”

The Brewers said fans with tickets and/or prepaid parking passes who can no longer attend Sunday’s game can get their account credited for a future regular-season home game.
The rain was bad enough during Saturday night’s game that some of the water was leaking through the roof and landing on the infield dirt.

The Mets blew a lead in the seventh inning Saturday and lost 7-4.
They have lost six straight and 10 of their last 11, and are hoping to avoid being swept for the second straight series Sunday after being swept by the Guardians at home.
