“Mentra Live is the only smart glasses with an app store, so your experience constantly evolves,” the website reads. “Ask AI questions about what you see, capture photos and videos, livestream to anywhere (Twitch, X, YouTube, TikTok, OnlyFans), listen to music, take calls, get live captions and translations, take notes and much more.”

So, yes, they boast an array of features beyond the ability to shoot and share porn in real-time. Still, that’s arguably one of the coolest, kinkiest perks of owning a pair.

The wearable tech space — slated to hit the market February 15, and will only be made available in the US — will join the likes of behemoth brand Ray-Ban Meta, with smart glasses from $299 to $799.

Mentra Live, however, is the only one of its kind offering open-source architecture. The built-in operating system, MentraOS, allows everyday folks and OnlyFan sirens alike to livestream to the world.

“With other glasses, your experience is locked into a closed ecosystem,” says the site. “Your data and information is used to serve you ads and gain information about your life. (i.e., Meta!).”

“With Mentra Live, it’s your data, your apps, your glasses.”

The trailblazers also reign as the glasses only on the market that comes with its own app store.

“With Mentra Live’s MiniApp Store you can personalize your smart glasses experience to fit you,” the creators brag, adding that their app houses specialized applications aimed at helping users taken notes, translate languages, get immediate AI-assistance and more.

Made for all-day wear, the lightweight lenses weigh just 43 grams — less than a pound — come in a black matte finish and is WiFi and Bluetooth compatible. The glasses also feature a camera with a 119-degree field of view, HD 1080p videos, stereo speakers and three microphones for making voice commands and calls.

But Menrta Live does not have a display.

The glasses boast AI, livestream, voice and video capabilities, as well as an extended battery life and its own app store. Mentra

“That’s on purpose,” the masterminds claim. “Displays add weight and drain the battery. Mentra Lives are some of the lightest smart glasses on the market (not to mention amongst the most affordable).”

Still, the tech fantastics can’t wait to get their hands on the smoking hot commodity.

“Impressive,” raved an X user, in part. “Sounds like a game changer for productivity.”

“Is there a way to get it delivered to Colombia?,” another enthused fan asked online. “I really love this idea of open glasses.”

“There’s that saying (or misconception?) that ‘the internet and VHS both evolved thanks to porn,’ a separate Xer tweeted. “Well, now we’ve got a product that supports live adult broadcasting with smart glasses.”

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
