Meghan Markle meets with new Vogue editor after inviting herself to Paris Fashion Week

Meghan Markle rubbed elbows with the new editor of American Vogue, Chloe Malle, during her jam-packed New York City trip.

As a cozy photo circulated via Deuxmoi of the duo chatting in a booth at Manhattan’s The Whitby Hotel, fans predicted that the Duchess of Sussex “will get a cover soon.”

The sitdown appeared to take place Friday as the “Suits” alum, 44, sported the same striped top she wore at the Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Festival.

The former actress completed her look with jeans, a slicked-back bun and earrings.

A source told the Daily Mail, “It’s Meghan 3.0. She’s on maneuvers and looking for yet another relaunch.”

Reps for Markle and Malle did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Reddit users noted over the weekend that Malle, 39, was allegedly “fangirling over Meghan at Paris Fashion Week.”

The journalist, who was tapped as Anna Wintour’s replacement in September, included a photo of the back of Markle’s head in her “late but great” Instagram roundup Sunday.

“I’m excited to see how Chloe’s editorship will turn out,” one fan gushed. “This looks like a good step!”

Wintour, notably, was at the Balenciaga show Markle attended for her first ever Fashion Week appearance on Oct. 4 — and the duo greeted each other warmly and embraced.

Markle, who stunned in an all-white ensemble for the occasion, made headlines on Saturday when Balenciaga designer Pierpaolo Piccioli’s revealed she invited herself to the show.

The “Deal or No Deal” alum has yet to cover Vogue, instead guest editing the September 2019 installment of British Vogue.

She and then-editor Edward Enninful reportedly had a falling out in 2022 over Markle’s desire for a “global cover” — and her alleged list of demands.

“The duchess and her team had high expectations … Enninful was not able to meet,” an insider told the Daily Mail in May.

The debacle was allegedly “difficult” for “furious” Enninful, with the pair reportedly no longer on speaking terms.

Markle, instead, covered New York Magazine’s The Cut for its September 2022 issue, promoting her “Archetypes” podcast.

She has since started — and stopped after one season — another “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast, along with a Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.”

To promote the projects, the retired royal relaunched her Instagram account earlier this year, where she shares rare glimpses of her and Harry’s kids — Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
