Mediterranean-inspired Motek restaurant chain coming to NYC

Motek, a chain of popular, Mediterranean-inspired restaurants with seven Miami-area locations, is taking the Big Apple plunge.

Happy Corner Hospitality, founded by Charlie Levy, will launch three sit-down locations — at 168-170 Wythe Ave. in Williamsburg, at 928 Broadway in Flatiron, and at 2178 Broadway, where it will take over the current Serafina corner space.

The Upper West Side location will open in 2026, while the other two are due later this year. In addition, the company’s Sesame Bakery will launch at outlet in Battery Park.

Motek’s menu is described as kosher-style, with olive oil, avocado and butter replacing seed oils.

Typical dishes include whole Mediterranean branzino, crispy chicken schnitzel with harissa aioli and Middle Eastern dumplings.

Levy, who lived here for 20 years before moving to Miami, said, “Miami is often called the sixth borough, so expanding here feels like a natural next step.”

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
