Marjorie Taylor Greene rips AOC after she claims MAGA diehard on ‘revenge tour’

AOC looks green with envy.
MAGA diehard Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said progressive darling Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is just “jealous” of her headline-making appearance on “The View,” after AOC claimed Greene’s recent series of interviews has been a “revenge tour” against President Trump.

The Georgia Republican has been siding with Dems during the government shutdown, appearing on left-leaning shows to call for an extension of Obamacare tax credits and the restoration of SNAP benefits.
In a lengthy Instagram livestream earlier this month, Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Dem, dished that Greene is on a “revenge tour” against the president after “Trump Land” allegedly blocked her from running for Senate.
Speaking on NewsNation’s “The Hill” on Wednesday night, Greene rejected AOC’s claims.
“Sounds like she’s best friends with Laura Loomer, too, because that’s the same thing Laura Loomer said,” Greene remarked, referring to the right-wing influencer. “But it’s not true.”
She accused AOC of being “really jealous that I came into her home state, stomped around and actually had a great conversation with the ladies on ‘The View,’” Greene said.
ABC’s “The View” is taped in New York City.
“I don’t respect her very much. She’s never accomplished anything in life other than being a member of Congress, so I don’t really know what she has to offer other than gossip,” Greene sniped.
In the gossipy video to her 9.5 million Instagram followers, AOC claimed she had “some tea.”
“[Greene] wanted to run for Senate earlier this year in the state of Georgia, she wanted to be the Republican nominee for Senate,” Ocasio-Cortez asserted.
“Trump said no, and the White House and Trump Land shut down Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal ambitions to run for Senate, and she has been on a revenge tour ever since,” she added.
Republicans are hoping to unseat Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff in Georgia next year. In May, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, a Republican, said he would not be running for Senate.
While Greene was widely expected to toss her hat in the ring, she announced she would not be running in a social media post a few days later.
On Wednesday, she boasted that her unusual appearance on “The View” – typically not friendly ground for MAGA devotees – had been a success.
“Honestly, I’ve only seen a little pushback online, but I’ve gotten calls in my office. People loved it from my district,” Greene said. “I got all these text messages from my friends and family, and they loved it.”
“And I think it’s good to have conversations with the other side and have respectful conversations,” she continued.
“People are sick and tired of political drama, they are fed up with it, and they’re tired of the toxic culture that we have.”
Recent weeks have seen Greene step outside her usual stomping grounds, appearing on CNN’s “The Situation Room” in October and on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher returns” last week.
During her appearance on “The View,” Greene repeatedly broke with Trump and called for “women of maturity” to unite.
“I’m sitting here just stumped, you know, because you are a very different person than I thought,” raved co-host Sunny Hostin. “You’ve gone so right, it’s like you’re on the left now.”
Still, Greene shot down a suggestion from co-host Joy Behar, who said, “Maybe you should become a Democrat.”
“I’m not a Democrat,” the congresswoman replied. “You want to know something, I say this: I think both parties have failed.”
The Georgia congresswoman defied Trump’s endorsement of ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the Big Apple’s mayoral race, instead supporting Republican Curtis Sliwa, and called for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Her criticism prompted a jarring suggestion from co-host Joy Behar – who argued that maybe the MAGA diehard “should become a Democrat.”
