Mario Cantone Claps Back On ‘The View’ After Joy Behar Suggests He Gets On Ozempic: “I Don’t Need It. I’m Italian!”
Joy Behar made a shocking suggestion to And Just Like That… star Mario Cantone on The View: Get on Ozempic.
Before Cantone joined the Hot Topics panel to discuss the new season of the HBO show, Behar and the ladies had just wrapped up a segment discussing “Ozempic penis,” a strange side effect men are reportedly experiencing from the weight loss drug that causes the penis to appear bigger in size. So when Cantone admitted that he felt nervous about filming a sex scene with his younger co-star, Sebastiano Pigazzi, Behar playfully suggested he give the popular weight loss drug a try.

“The juxtaposition is horrifying cause he’s, you know, 12, and I’m 97,” he joked after admitting he worked out for months before filming. “I didn’t sleep the night before. But my DMs blew up! It was very nice, the boys came out!”
Behar then alluded to their previous segment, asking Cantone, “Can we suggest, perhaps, the Ozempic for you?”
While Behar’s suggestion was shocking, Cantone, of course, took it in stride and clapped back with his own fiery response.
“No, the Ozempic thing, it’s only because they can finally see it,” he said, causing the ladies of The View and the audience to laugh. “And I don’t need it. I’m Italian!”
Behar and her co-hosts could not contain their laughter while discussing the shocking Ozempic side effect earlier in the broadcast.
“You know what guys, you don’t need Ozempic. Just go on TV and drop your pants. The camera adds 10 pounds, try that,” Behar joked.
“It’s an optical illusion, like when you look in the side mirror and it says, ‘Objects look bigger than they appear to be,’” she later added.
Alyssa Farah Griffin was not so surprised by the news, however. “Of course men get a good side effect and women wouldn’t,” she said.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
