Man found on sidewalk outside West Hollywood hotel dies
A man who was found bleeding on the sidewalk outside the ritzy London West Hollywood Hotel on New Year’s Day died at a nearby hospital, authorities said.
LA County Sheriff’s deputies located the bloodied man after responding to a call in the 1000 block of Larrabee Street Thursday. A section of Larrabee Street was closed for several hours during the on-scene investigation.

The man is believed to either have jumped or fell from the seventh floor, the WeHo Times reported. LA County Sheriff’s homicide investigators are handling the death probe, according to NBC LA.
The London West Hollywood, which runs upwards of $500 a night, said the staff was “deeply saddened” by the death.
“The London West Hollywood is committed to maintaining a secure environment for our guests and team members and will continue to work in collaboration with local authorities,” a hotel statement said.
