Luigi Mangione flashes fist pump as marathon hearing continues — and prosecutors reveal his ‘to do’ list, other evidence photos

Luigi Mangione flashed a fist pump in Manhattan court as the marathon evidence hearing in his sensational murder case continued Monday — and prosecutors released photos of the accused killer’s “to do” list and other items he had on him when he was arrested last year.
Mangione, 27, flexed his right arm as he looked directly into a camera while he leaned in to listen to one of his attorneys at the defense table in Manhattan Supreme Court, where he faces murder and other charges for the Dec. 4, 2024, assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Midtown.

Christy Wasser, of the Altoona Police Department, was set to testify — on day four of evidence suppression hearings in the case — about searching Mangione’s backpack following his Dec. 9, 2024, arrest at a McDonald’s in the Pennsylvania city about 100 miles east of Pittsburgh.
New photos released by the Manhattan District Attorney’ Office over the weekend showed Mangione had a handwritten checklist on him that included a trip to Best Buy and a “future to do” involving a survival kit.
He has pleaded not guilty.
