Ortega was also called an “ignorant racist bitch,” a “c–t,” a “whore,” a “ho” and a “flop” with “duck lips.”

The influencer went on to write a lengthy statement on the next slide, telling her followers, “Unfortunately for those who wish harm on me, I carry nothing but love in my heart. For my life, the people in it, and every waking moment I get to spend on this earth.”

She continued, “What should be a collective opportunity to address derrogatory [sic] language and the harm they carry, has instead snowballed into an excuse for cruelty.”

Ortega vowed to “refuse to let misery find company here” and said she’ll “keep living with love, presence, and gratitude. Especially in the painful moments, because they, too, shape who we are.”

The 25-year-old encouraged those spewing hate to use “all this energy” to better our world.

“If even a fraction of it was used to uplift the community directly impacted — to continue amplifying Asian voices & their healing — imagine how much further we could be as a collective,” she fantasized.

Ortega concluded her upload by asking everyone to “be kind to someone today. And tomorrow. And every day after that” because “love will always go further.”

During last Sunday’s episode of the Peacock reality series, narrator Iain Stirling announced that Ortega had “left the villa due to a personal situation.”

As the content creator skyrocketed to fame, internet sleuths uncovered that she used an Asian slur on Instagram at least twice: once in 2015 and again circa 2023.

Netizens fumed, with many demanding things like, “GET HER OUT NOW,” “get her off the show now” and “get her off my screen NOW.”

Before Ortega got her phone back, her parents posted a lengthy statement on her behalf via her Instagram Story.

“We know our daughter. We know her heart. And when she returns, we believe she’ll face this with honesty, growth, and grace,” they penned in part.

“While she’ll always be our little girl, she’s also a woman, one who will take responsibility in her own time and her own voice. Until then, we’re simply asking for compassion.”

Ortega later shared an “accountability video” in which she acknowledged her use of the “incredibly offensive” word, which she “had no idea” carried so much “pain.”

She insisted she was “deeply, truly, honestly so sorry” and promised that her future actions would “speak louder than any apology.”
