In a video taken by a video, Young sang her 2024 song “Conceited” when she suddenly fell backwards onto the floor, shocking the audience.
Young was then carrried off-stage by medical team staff, before her labelmate Remi Wolf came out on stage and addressed the crowd.
“That was really f—ing scary,” Wolf, 29, said, according to People.
“My friend Lola is backstage, and she is okay,” Wolf added.
Young later spoke out about the incident with a message on her Instagram Stories.
“Hi, for anyone who saw my set at All Things Go today, I am doing OK now,” she wrote. “Thank you for all of your support, Lola xxx.”
Before she collapsed, Young told the crowd during her set that she “had a tricky couple of days.”
“Sometimes life can really make you feel like you can’t continue, but you know what, today I woke up and I made the decision to come here, and I wanted to be cool … and sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade,” she shared.
The “Messy” singer was seemingly referring to how she canceled a performance in New Jersey on Friday for mental health reasons.
Her manager, Nick Shymansky, said on his Instagram Stories that she made the decision “due to a sensitive matter.”
“Lola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,” said Shymansky.
“There are [occasionally] days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,” he added. “She is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused.”
In August, Young told The Guardian that going on tour has “been a struggle.”
“I’ve definitely had to work on some internal healing while grappling with touring and stuff,” she explained. “I’ve had to be away for a bit while battling with things.”
“But it teaches you a lot, being addicted to substances,” Young added. “It makes you more empathetic about other people that have gone through that. It’s just a constant journey.”
