LiAngelo Ball’s divorce takes ugly turn as pregnant wife feuds with his ex
LiAngelo Ball’s exes were feuding in the public eye on Sunday, and his estranged wife, Rashida Nicole, said she’s just getting started.
In a note posted on her Instagram Story, Rashida — who is expecting her first child with Ball —appeared to respond after Ball’s ex, Nikki Mudarris, went on “The Jason Lee Show” and claimed Ball ended things with her via text, and had gotten another woman pregnant.

“I was really trying to chill bc I am pregnant,” Rashida said. “But I am sooo tired of this bish keep talking about me! So let’s talk about it!!! It’s giving obsessed! You are sooo focused on blaming me for y’all problems! He decided to leave!”
“I do not mention you nor do I care! This lady has harassed me the entire time behind the scenes, trying to have ppl call me to abort my baby, wishing death on my unborn child and so much more! I’m done!”
Rashida, who did not name Mudarris or Ball in her message, said this situation is just “free promo” for her.
“And just a PSA: My due date is in December so again y’all do the math!” Rashida exclaimed. “Thank you from all the free promo though… while I’m Baking this beautiful baby!!! Thank you to all the negative miserable people for your expert opinions and comments bc you know what’s going on in my life better than I do! How could I ever forget?
“Sit back, relax and enjoy the show bc I know i am!! … Let her cook! …. I’m just loading up!!!!”
Ball has yet to address the situation and the divorce news.
The “Tweaker” rapper filed for divorce from Rashida one week after she announced her pregnancy, according to court documents obtained by TMZ last week.
He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, with June 15 listed as their separation date.
Ball and Rashida wed on March 24, 2025, as stated in the documents, which were filed at a Southern California courthouse on July 3.
She announced her pregnancy on June 26.
Mudarris, who posted a carousel of Instagram photos from the Jason Lee interview Sunday, said she wanted to “set the record straight” about all the chatter surrounding her personal life.
“Hey loves! I know there’s been a lot of talk… so I sat down with @jasonleeshow to set the record straight — with truth, clarity, and class,” wrote Mudarris, who shares two kids with Ball.
Mudarris told Lee that Ball broke up with her in a text message a few weeks after she gave birth to their daughter, LaNiyah Nicole Ball, in December.
“He had a meeting in New York… and he didn’t text me for like three days, we didn’t talk,” Mudarris said, adding it was out of the norm for Ball, who always checks on their kids. “Then he texted me and said, ‘We need to co-parent, I got someone pregnant.’ Just like that… and [our daughters] is only four weeks at the time.”
Ball and Mudarris, a “Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood” star, welcomed son LaVelo Anthony Ball in July 2023.
