“Let’s End This, Kid”: ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Trailer Teases Blood, Fire, and Eleven vs. Vecna

Netflix has just set the internet ablaze with the fiery first teaser for Stranger Things‘s final season. The nearly two and a half minute trailer reunites us with fan faves like Steve (Joe Keery), Chief Hopper (David Harbour), and, of course, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), while also teasing new characters and devastating deaths. Not only that, but Netflix has also dropped several first look photos for Stranger Things Season 5 and revealed that for the first time ever, one of their flagship shows will be released on the streamer during American primetime!

It’s been over three years since Stranger Things Season 4 hit Netflix, introducing us to Joseph Quinn’s lovable Eddie Munson, the twisted backstory of Vecna, and the enduring appeal of Kate Bush’s “Running Up that Hill.” Now it’s finally time for the kids’ final stand against the powers of evil that populate the Upside Down.

The new Stranger Things Season 5 trailer opens with the gang camped out in a radio station, preparing for a tactic they call the “burn.” Over the course of the new teaser, we get glimpses of Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) standing vigil over Max (Sadie Sink) in the hospital, Eleven readying herself to enter the tank, and new cast member Linda Hamilton. Most upsettingly, however, we also see what’s become of poor Eddie Munson’s legacy; Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) visits his horrifically defaced grave.

The new season of Stranger Things will roll out in three parts. Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 (Episodes 1-4) will hit Netflix on Thanksgiving Day 2025, aka Thursday, November 26. Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 (Episodes 5-7) will come out on Christmas Day, aka December 25. The final episode of Stranger Things debuts on New Year’s Eve.

In a shocking move, all three parts of the final Stranger Things season will hit Netflix at 5 PM ET/8 PM ET, making it the rare primetime premiere for a Netflix original.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
