It’s a big offseason with much at stake for the 40-year-old’s future with the Lakers, who he has played for since the 2018-19 season and brought them a championship in 2020.

The Lakers have undergone a change in ownership and it’s reportedly becoming clear that Luka Doncic, who they traded for in a major shocker blockbuster in February, is the player they wish to build the rest of the team around given his young age (26) and marketability within the U.S. and beyond.

Recently it was also revealed that Doncic was the only Lakers star in attendance of a dinner set up by general manager Rob Pelinka and coach JJ Redick at the famed Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood just four days after the season ended.

Doncic’s agent, Lara Beth Seager was also there to discuss the team’s strategy in building up the franchise around him.

If the James is to be traded, he will not be shy of options of where to play next and possibly finish his career out.

Last season, James became the first father-son duo in the NBA with son, Bronny, after the second-year guard was drafted by the Lakers with the No. 55 overall pick in 2024.

He averaged 24.4 points per game on 51 percent shooting from the field in his 22nd year in the league, but the Lakers lost in the first-round of the playoffs in five games to the Timberwolves.

Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
