Lauren Sánchez’s sister shares intimate behind-the-scenes look at $50M Jeff Bezos wedding

Lauren Sánchez’s sister gave a glimpse inside the journalist’s $50 million wedding to Jeff Bezos.

Elena Sánchez Blair shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the luxurious Venetian wedding to her Instagram Sunday.

In one black-and-white snap, the bride was seen smiling while receiving a hug from a guest.

A second photo captured Sánchez covering her face in a fit of laughter while seated at a sprawling dining table topped with beautiful floral arrangements and candles.

“This is what I will remember…our family so full of love and joy❤️,” Elena captioned the post, adding, “Love you both so much ❤️ @laurensanchezbezos @jeffbezos.”

In both images, Sánchez was seen wearing a stunning strapless lace reception dress.

Earlier in the evening, she had walked down the aisle on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in a gorgeous long-sleeve, corset wedding gown by Dolce &Gabbana.

Sánchez told Vogue that the high-neck lace design was inspired by the gown Sophia Loren wore in 1958’s “Houseboat” to marry Cary Grant

“It went from ‘I want a simple, sexy modern dress’ to ‘I want something that evokes a moment,’ and where I am right now. I am a different person than I was five years ago,” Sánchez told the mag.

“I researched pictures of brides in the 1950s,” she added. “I wanted to reflect back, and I saw Sophia Loren and her hands were [in a prayer position] and she was in high lace, up to the neck, and I said, ‘That’s it. That’s the dress.’”

She also changed into a third look for the party, opting for a cocktail dress by Oscar de la Renta.

Meanwhile, the Amazon founder said “I do” in a classic black tuxedo.

Sánchez and Bezos wed in front of 200 of their closest family and friends on June 27.

A-list guests in attendance included Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Barbra Streisand and Orlando Bloom.

Surrounding the wedding day, they hosted a line-up of lavish events, including a welcome dinner and a post-wedding pajama party.

Insiders claimed last week that attendees were exhausted by the stacked itinerary by the end of the wedding weekend.

“People were complaining about being completely tired by the time of the wedding day, never mind the day after,” a source told Daily Mail.

The billionaire, 61, and Sánchez, 55, got engaged in April 2022 on the Blue Origin founder’s $500 million superyacht after dating for five years.
