“They never saw a pro in me,” Murray captioned his post, which included a reel of his career highlights. “But 11 years later, I showed what a pro really looks like.”

Murray played 10 seasons in the NFL, including stints with the Raiders (2014-16), Vikings (2017-18), Saints (2019-20), Ravens (2021), Broncos (2022) and Bills.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound back rushed for 6,552 yards and 59 touchdowns in his career, and notched at least 500 yards rushing in nine of his 10 seasons.

He enjoyed his most productive season with the Raiders in 2015, earning a Pro-Bowl nod with 1,066 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

Murray, from Titusville, Fla., was a standout at UCF from 2008-12, rushing for 2,424 yards and 37 touchdowns over that span.

Those numbers made him a 2013 sixth-round draft choice of the Raiders, with whom he quickly earned a role.

After his three-year stint in Oakland, he split the workload with Dalvin Cook in Minnesota before joining the Saints’ backfield.

He then went on to share carries with Devonta Freeman in Baltimore in 2021, with Melvin Gordon in Denver in 2022 and with James Cook in Buffalo in 2023.

Murray’s farewell video on Instagram features clips of former teammates speaking about him from press conferences over the years, including Derek Carr describing the running back as “one of my best friends in this whole world,” and praise from Drew Brees.

“That’s a strong guy, huge guy. People don’t want to tackle that man, I’m not gonna lie to you. I wouldn’t want to tackle him either,” Lamar Jackson said later in the reel, with Russell Wilson adding: “Murray is one of my favorite guys to play with. I really enjoy his presence and what he’s done, and who he is as a man.”

The video then closes out with several former teammates describing Murray as the “ultimate pro.”
