Last year, Mookie Betts’ Los Angeles Dodgers rolled over Aaron Judge’s Yankees in games one and two at Dodger Stadium. In 2025, Betts, Ohtani, Freeman, Muncy, Hernández and co. take on Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s visiting Blue Jays in games three through five of the Fall Classic after splitting the first two at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
Before the first pitch is thrown, here’s what we know about each World Series contest in La La Land:
Game Three
Monday, Oct. 27
Max Scherzer (1-0, 3.18 ERA) vs. Tyler Glasnow (0-0, 0.68 ERA)
Game Four
Tuesday, Oct. 28
Shane Bieber (1-0, 4.38 ERA) vs. Shohei Ohtani (2-0, 2.25 ERA)
Game Five
Wednesday, Oct. 29
TBD vs. TBD
If you’d like to be there, last-minute tickets are still available.
Better yet, some are cheaper than they were when The Post last reported on the lowest prices on Tuesday, Oct. 21.
Back then, the best price we could find on tickets for games at Dodger Stadium was $755 including fees on Vivid Seats.
Six days later, prices now start at $688 including fees.
For those without a calculator on hand, that’s a cool $67 in savings.
Not bad to potentially witness unforgettable October baseball moments like Addison Barger smashing the first pinch hit grand slam in World Series history in game one or Yoshinobu Yamamoto firing a four-hit complete game to tie things back up.
“I’ve been playing a long time and haven’t ever seen anything like this,” Betts said.
Should you attend games three through five, here are a few things to look out for that you haven’t seen before.
In the event you make it out to game three, you’ll witness Toronto’s 41-year-old starter Max Scherzer becoming the first pitcher to ever appear in the World Series with four different clubs after his stints with the Tigers (2012), Nationals (2019) and Rangers (2023).
Then, in game four, Shohei Ohtani makes his first-ever World Series start.
As for game five, who knows? Perhaps the Dodgers will win the World Series in Los Angeles for the first time since 1963 when they swept the Yankees behind Sandy Koufax’s pair of complete game gems.
