Kristen Stewart wears sultry, sheer, second-skin lace dress and leggings from Rhea Costa at screening in LA

Kristen Stewart layered up in lace on the red carpet this past weekend, attending a screening for her new movie, “The Chronology of Water,” in Los Angeles.
A racy take on the color of the season, Stewart slipped into a burgundy lace set from Rhea Costa, consisting of leggings and a slim long-sleeved midi dress.

Though the overlapping of lace allowed for some extra coverage, the look was crafted entirely of the see-through material.
With her hair in an up-do, she wore minimal makeup and accessorized with little more than a pair of black pointed-toe pumps.
Burgundy has quickly become the most popular hue of fall, boasting a vivid autumnal tone, worn head-to-toe by Kylie Jenner, Blake Lively and Demi Moore during this past week alone.
Although the 35-year-old typically sticks to a black and white color palette, this latest look offered the world a rare, colorful appearance.
Stewart is a multi-hyphenate for the film, having written, directed and co-produced the project.
She attended the premiere with her wife, Dylan Meyer, who is also a producer of the film. Meyer kept it casual, wearing a basic black t-shirt and army green chinos for the red carpet.
Stewart is no stranger to a skin-baring look, often choosing bra tops, sheer mesh, or barely-there silhouettes — she balances these with tailored layers that allow them to feel a little more covered or approachable.
Just this past spring, Stewart chose a pink Chanel look (another atypical appearance in color) that consisted of a tweed jacket and matching shorts, covered by a wispy sheer pink tulle skirt.
Last year, the actress attended the premiere of “Love Lies Bleeding” wearing little more than an ultra high-cut bodysuit and sheer tights with Chanel pumps. She layered an oversized blazer atop the look.
With “The Chronology of Water” set to open on Dec. 10, this is sure to be one of many head-turning looks to come over the next several weeks of press.
