Kim Kardashian shares behind-the-scenes wardrobe secrets from Hulu’s ‘All’s Fair’

“I feel like the fashion [of ‘All’s Fair’] is its own character in itself,” said Kim Kardashian.
And, with less-than-stellar reviews of the Ryan Murphy show, creative director and fashion stylist Soki Mak’s wardrobe department still stands out from the rest.

Kardashian took to TikTok to break down Allura Grant’s outfits in the first episode of the series, dropping some major BTS intel along the way. Her character is part of the ensemble of high-powered female divorce attorneys that anchors the show.
The first scene of the show is a flashback, ten years ago. In it, Kardashian wears a Jean Paul Gaultier double-breasted suit. The suit is, in fact, from Kardashian’s own closet.
Gaultier designs are getting some major airtime throughout the series. Kardashian also wears a head-to-toe JPG look a few scenes later, which the actress reveals in her TikTok was vintage couture.
The dress is from the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture spring 2004 collection, topped by a fall 2008 coat.
“The dress is not snake print,” she shares, adding, “it actually has these scales and leather sewn on in very specific places to make it look and feel that way.”
She also wears a head-turning red croc trench coat with a Swarovski crystal waist detail from the designer’s fall 2008 collection.
Another major piece of insider info? According to Kardashian, Hermès actually partnered with the show by providing several Birkins for the characters to carry throughout. In a throwaway comment, the star explains, “an Hermès Birkin that we partnered with …”
Partnership or not, Kardashian is a well-known Birkin lover; she carries a few from her own personal collection in the show.
The white dress Kardashian wears for her character’s anniversary dinner on the show is a custom Roberto Cavalli. On the video, she shared that the designer label reads “Roberto Cavalli for Kim Kardashian.” Initially shown in a short version on the summer 2006 runway, the design house elongated the look for the on-screen character.
Kardashian and Grant share the same taste when it comes to wardrobe, aided of course by the inclusion of Kardashian’s personal wardrobe archive. But, she admits, she had to put her own preferences aside from time to time.
“These Cartier [sunglasses] … I was fighting with Soki a little bit about because I just feel like I personally don’t feel like I fit them,” Kardashian admitted, adding, “but then this is Allura, so I got into it.”
Nearing the close of the video, she talks about the Jean Paul Gaultier spring 1997 pinstripe skirt suit that made headlines when she posted it on Instagram a few days ago.
With a revealing thong back, she shares, “It was so crazy to film in,” adding, “I’d say this is one of my favorites.”
Three minutes and 13 seconds later, it’s safe to say Kardashian has us hooked, waiting to tune in for episode two of “All’s Fair Fashion Files.”
