Many social media users mocked the reality star — who plays attorney Allura Grant on the fictional drama — for exposing her thong in one of her work suits in an episode.
“She would’ve looked hot if it just didn’t show her thong, so why not just go with that? Now it makes the show even more unrealistic. What person would actually hire that lawyer?,” one Reddit user commented.
“She’d never win a case due to the judge dismissing anything she said because of her lack of professionalism,” another shared.
“Such a try hard. she cheapens everything she does…never takes anything more seriously than her appearance,” a third user added.
“It’s not even a thong sticking out above a low rise bottom, 2000s-style. It’s a CUTOUT. Ass cleavage??” another wrote.
In the episode in question, Kardashian, 45, put her derrière on display in a Jean Paul Gaultier spring 1997 pinstripe skirt suit. The suit featured a cut out piece in the back, where she showed off her maroon thong.
She previously teased the outfit via Instagram with a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos from her “All’s Fair” fittings with nearly 20 different looks from the show.
In her Friday TikTok, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum further explained some of her looks on the show, telling her followers she felt the outfit was “one of my favorites” but was “so crazy to film in.”
“I feel like the fashion [of ‘All’s Fair’] is its own character in itself,” said Kardashian.
“All’s Fair” follows successful divorce lawyer Allura Grant (Kardashian) and her all-female law firm in Los Angeles, according to the show’s official synopsis.
The series also stars Teyana Taylor, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close and Jessica Simpson.
However, it seems even the star-studded cast wasn’t enough to overpower its other shortcomings. The Ryan Murphy-backed production premiered on Nov. 4 to a 0 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and some harsh critic reviews.
USA Today‘s Kelly Lawler called the drama “the worst TV show of the year,” while the Hollywood Reporter’s TV critic Angie Han called the series “brain dead.”
Han also said Kardashian’s performance was “stiff and affectless without a single authentic note. … Her very presence, which succeeds at generating buzz and not much else, feels fitting for a show that seems to want not to be watched so much as mined for viral bits and pieces.”
But, Kardashian proved she was able to take the negative comments on the chin as she promoted the series via Instagram Thursday.
“Have you tuned in to the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!?” Kardashian captioned an Instagram slideshow. “All’s Fair streaming now on @hulu and @disneyplus.”
