One spy tells us Schlossberg, who’s known for his zany and over-the-top social media posts, seemed “subdued, different than his Internet personality.”
Another source told us, “He worked the room and people were eating him up. He was polished. It wasn’t ‘Wild West.’”
A political insider tells us that gauging interest at this event is part of the game.
“Carnegie is a block party for the city’s culture class,” the source explained. “It’s a yearly pilgrimage, it’s a ‘must do’ on any political player’s bingo card. It means you understand the ecosystem of the city.”
The black tie bash kicked off Carnegie’s 2025–2026 season with selections from “West Side Story” and “The Firebird Suite,” followed by a dinner.
Schlossberg, a Harvard Law grad, recently announced he’s forming an exploratory committee to run for Rep. Jerry Nadler’s now-open 12th District seat.
The move came after Schlossberg — who has been taking aim at JD Vance as well as his Kennedy cousin, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — posted a poll on his Instagram asking if he should run for office, with most of his followers being enthusiastic about the idea.
The former “Vogue” contributor would step into the ring against candidates including non-profit founder Liam Elkind, state Assemblymember Micah Lasher and New York City Council Member Erik Boettcher.
Nadler, for one is not in his corner, previously telling CNN: “Well, there’s nothing particularly good or bad about a Kennedy holding my seat. But the Kennedy, unlike Schlossberg, should be somebody with a record of public service, a record of public accomplishment, and he doesn’t have one.” Ouch!
Schlossberg was also recently spotted at the Lexington Democratic Club’s Fall Social in the Upper East Side’s 12th Congressional District.
Let’s be honest—no matter how stressful the day gets, a good viral video can instantly lift your mood. Whether it’s a funny pet doing something silly, a heartwarming moment between strangers, or a wild dance challenge, viral videos are what keep the internet fun and alive.
