“I have a fantasy about working at Trader Joe’s,” Ripa teased. “What was it like working there?”

Briney said “it was wonderful,” confirming Ripa’s suspicions.

Mark Consuelos asked, “Did you stock the shelves? What were you doing?”

Briney replied, “I did it all. I mean, they keep you rotating, which is part of what’s really nice about it.”

This differed from the Staple’s role, where he said “you’re standing waiting for someone to buy a printer, and then you upsell.”

Consuelos chimed in, “You get them the warranty. Never buy the warranty.”

Briney echoed with a chuckle, “Don’t buy the warranty!”

Consuelos quipped, “I would say if I’m buying this now, why are you telling me it’s going to break in six months? I’m not buying it.”

Nonetheless, Briney only had praise for Trader Joe’s, as he offered more insight into his role at the beloved grocery store.

“At Trader Joe’s, you spend two hours at a register, and then you’re stocking, and then you’re unboxing,” he shared. “It keeps you moving, and I think they made an effort to hire personable people. At least it felt that way. Everyone seemed interested in each other.”

Ripa added, “And good-looking people.”

As for any insight into the fate of the love triangle at the center of the Prime Video series starring Briney, Lola Tung, and Gavin Casalegno, Ripa attempted to secure answers, to no avail.

“Som who’s gonna get the girl?” she asked. “Just let us know. The audience is demanding it.”

Briney said, “Well… I can’t say. I would get in trouble. Too much media training.”
